2012 Theta Mu Golf Classic - April 21, 2012
Dear Supporters of Delta Sigma Phi,
The Theta Mu Alumni Corporation Board cordially invites you to participate in our annual Theta Mu Golf Classic. The scramble tournament will be held at Connemara Golf Course with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2012.
If you are receiving this invitation for the first time, the Theta Mu Golf Classic is a scramble-style golf tournament that allows undergraduate and alumni brothers, along with family members and friends, to convene and enjoy a day of fun and spirits. Our undergraduate brothers have achieved great academic and social success at the University of Kentucky over the past few years, and the proceeds from our annual event, along with your continued support, play a vital role in their collegiate experience.
This year will mark our sixth consecutive spring tournament, and as your alumni leaders, our ultimate goal is to make the 2012 Theta Mu Golf Classic more enjoyable than ever! At this year’s event, we will offer mulligans and skirts to spice up the game for inexperienced participants, as well as have some new and exciting prizes for the more elite golfers. After scrambling through 18 holes, we invite you to join us for a post-tournament luncheon at Connemara Golf Club.
To participate in the 2012 Theta Mu Golf Classic, please RSVP by Saturday, March 31, 2012. You can RSVP by sending your individual participant fee of $60 to the following address:
Theta Mu Alumni Corporation Board
P.O. Box 2027
Lexington, KY 40588-2027
Along with your individual participant fee, please include the names and payments of all individuals to be included in your foursome. If you have less than four team members, our event coordinator will pair your team with another group in need of additional participants.
If you have questions, please contact one of our Alumni Board members. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing you at the 6th Annual Theta Mu Golf Classic on Saturday, April 21, 2012!
Regards,

| Theta Mu Chapter Dedicates Its New House by Kevin Meadows |
|
On October 23, 2010, the brothers of Theta Mu at the University of Kentucky celebrated homecoming by dedicating their new fraternity house. The new house is located in the heart of the Greek community on campus and can sleep 40 members.
There was a large turnout for the event – over 300 people attended. Of the 300 in attendance, there were 50 alumni of the fraternity, which included eight of the Theta Mu chapter’s founding fathers, representatives from eight chapters (Kentucky, Transylvania, Georgia, Hartford, North Texas, Utah State, Oregon, and Eastern Illinois), three national representatives, five former national representatives, three former E. Allen James winners and 10 University of Kentucky officials.
The ceremony included speakers from the national Fraternity, the Theta Mu ACB President, the undergraduate president and the Dean of Students at the University of Kentucky. It concluded with a ribbon cutting and formal ceremony in the chapter room of the house. House tours took place all morning for parents, alumni and all who wanted a glimpse of the newest fraternity house on campus.
All in attendance thoroughly enjoyed the ceremony and other homecoming festivities, and the undergraduates are especially happy to have a new place to call home. Overall brotherhood seems to be at an all time high, and today the Theta Mu chapter has never been prouder to be called Delta Sigs.
